How Not To Be Hungry

When you are dieting, the biggest problem you face is often what you can and cannot eat. Virtually every diet tells you what you can have so much of this, none of that, a bit of the other. You can’t eat your favorite food, you need to have smaller portions and end up constantly feeling dissatisfied and hungry, which leads to you being irritable and on edge.

You may know this feeling far too well, particularly if you have ever been on a diet.

The best tip to avoid these hunger pangs and to feel fuller and more satisfied is to drink plenty of water. Experts reckon you ought to be drinking around eight glasses of water every single day.

Drinking water is actually very good for you, it helps to keep your body hydrated and flush toxins from your system. Often when you think you are hungry you are just thirst, and the water will get rid of the hunger pangs.

Carry water around with you to drink and make sure you have a large glass of water about half an hour before a meal, which will help to fill you up and stop you eating as much. The same experts recommend you drink filtered or bottled water as it contains less impurities and possible toxins.

If you are hungry, then exercising is another good way to make the hunger pangs go away. It doesn’t make them go away completely, but it does take your mind off them and helps you get the exercise you need to get rid of those extra pounds.

If the hunger pangs are too strong and you really can’t ignore them, then by all means snack, but snack healthily. Avoid the high calorie, high sugar foods that will make you put on weight and go for healthy snacks like fruits and vegetables. Personally, I carry healthy snacks around with me as they are expensive to buy and can be hard to find.

It’s at the start of a diet, when you are first changing you eating habits, that hunger is a major problem. However, after a while, once you get used to your new eating habits, you will find that hunger is no longer a problem. If you feel hungry, wait for a bit and see if the hunger goes away. If it doesn’t, have a healthy snack. Through learning to control your hunger pangs you will find your weight loss program much easier.<

How To Exercise Easily

1. Take the stairs: If you work in a building with an elevator, try taking the stairs at least once a day. It may take a little bit longer, but you’ll be burning fat while you walk. This of course may not always be feasible, but try to do it at least once a day. You’ll have even better results if you completely stop using the elevator.

2. Suck it in: It sounds silly, but sucking in your stomach throughout the day can actually help tighten your abs and whittle your waist. No one even has to know you’re doing it. Just suck in your stomach for five minutes of time
